If you follow me on Instagram (@thisaveragemom), then you’ve seen some of the pictures I’m sharing today already…sorry!! We had a great 4th yesterday. We didn’t do much of anything, actually. We were able to play with the kids all morning, which was really nice considering we don’t get many Wednesdays at home! We ended up going to Taco Bell for lunch (so patriotic, I know), which was delish per usual. People are always so judgmental about TB. I stand by my opinion that it is tasty cuisine. So THERE. ☺ Anyway. After our quick jaunt out for food, we got Mav down for his nap and sent Harlyn to play quietly in her room for a while. I got everything together for the pool, and when our little man got up we headed over to my in-laws for some time in the sunshine! We played in the pool for a few hours and then they bought us Jersey Mike’s subs for dinner. I adore Jersey Mike’s too…so it was a food win day for me now that I’m reflecting on this! Haha. And now I should probably eat some meals at home and go on a long run (or 2). Speaking of home, we came home around 6 and by 7:30 PM both kids were fast asleep. That is what I call a perfect holiday for a family of homebodies!! I hope you had the best day and were able to get in some fun and relaxation on this strange midweek day off!
