This past Saturday, we headed out to the pumpkin patch. I mean…I think it’s a Mom Blogger Law that you must go to the pumpkin patch every fall right!?!
Anyway, my mom and stepdad treated us to the morning o’ fun. I thought it was going to be cold, so I wore long sleeves and jeans…and then proceeded to sweat my booty off. It was 73 but that pure, blazing sun that made it feel like 95. But other than the sweating, we all had a nice time!! And the kids have truly been enjoying having Mimi and Papa live in NC now. They are always ready to spend time with their grandparents!
We’d actually never been to Phillips Farms before. There used to be a fun farm we’d go to in the fall, but it relocated a couple years ago and never reopened to the public. Wahhhh! But Phillips didn’t disappoint! There was a lot to do, the kids were having a blast, and I think if it’d been just a little less hot/sunny and a little further away from lunch/nap time, we’d have made it longer than 2 hours.
But when we got home, Mav had fallen asleep in the car from all the fun, slept for a couple hours, and Harlyn told us over her peanut butter sandwich how much she’d loved the morning.
